 The Pattern Trader Tutorial
« Thread Started on Jun 28, 2006, 9:44pm »

CONSISTENCY
MINIMAL RISK
OPTIMUM RETURNS

If these three criteria are what you've been missing in your trades, it is because;
A. You have been ignorant about millionaire dreams
B. You haven't been taught about the Risks
C. You haven't learnt to Plan your Trades

The Pattern Trader Tutorial is designed to help you, the trader, understand your purpose and intents. It will give you an insight as to how the market works and how you can turn this information into effective leverage as a trader.

By familiarising yourself with this leverage, you will have a clear overview of the whole market, the risks and its direction. Finding and understanding this information will give you an edge by identifying minimal risk trades and turning that edge into consistent rewards.

Without the need for large capital layouts, stringent qualifying criteria and long trading hours, learn to trade with confidence and consistency through a series of common-sense techniques. Develop your own strategies for whichever market you find yourself in. Trade without fear or greed.

Drive your own profits, minimise your risks and build your own fortune ... it all starts here.

You're going to have to email Angela for that, bro. We've only just started finalising a few things and can only confirm by next week soonest. Drop her a mail and she'll put you in her reply list when she sends out the mailers.

Cheers, bro!

Absolute novices are encouraged to attend. A little knowledge or experience wouldn't hurt but this tutorial caters to the very basic beginner.

are there courses for semi-intermediate ?

i've experience in the common option strats and how to roll them , calculating their basic breakeven and required capital.

basic TA as well , trendlines , pattern , waves though
pattern and waves seem a tad prone to misinterpretation.

the market's good to me so far , though i would attribute it a fair bit of it to luck.

majority of my profits are coming in from simple stuff like straight call/puts based on profit day / dividend dates/stock splits etc.

i think i need to start learning how to calculate more stuff (after browsing thru the forums , seems like theres alot more things i need to know)
probly high time to seek more help and improve myself before i get really toasted.

Some of my students were like you ... thinking they knew some trading stuff and wanted to move on to the "intermediate" things. After some convincing, they attended my tutorial and found that even the basic things were missing from their trading 'knowledge'. These are the simple things that will kill your trade that most seminars don't cover in detail.

At the end of my tutorial, whatever basic level stuff you may know, will be enhanced and like my other students, will have attained more than a basic level of trading skills. You will be able to formulate your own strategies instead of relying on someone's else's plan and you'll be in total control of your trade, emotions and financial management.

I have been "coaxed" into introducing a formal Intermediate Level Tutorial by mid 2007 and this will include some very technical approaches to trading plus Advanced Candlestick Analysis and Advanced Fibonacci Techniques.

These Intermediate technical techniques will be married to some detailed fundamentals on market research, momentum strategies and value investing.

Graduates of Wealth Academy or the WA Investor (PatternTrader) Tutorials will be granted special rates for these Intermediate sessions. But this will be totally useless to anyone who doesn't first grasp the basic concept of How To Trade. This, to me, is more important than How To Make Money. And this has been the foundation on which I have built my trading strengths.

Making money, believe it or not, came naturally after knowing how to trade. Knowing how to trade, means knowing how to limit losses and this is one of the most basic things most people don't learn. You will lose some money, just like in any other type of business. Its a reality most people (and Trainers) don't like to address. But I do address this issue. And as a well grounded Trader, you will be in total control of the risk. The money will come if you don't let it go. And if it goes, you'll know how to get it back.

This is a very long and arduous journey. And it doesn't stop when the Tutorial ends. The learning process at WAI will continue as long as you want it to. The key to the success of any Pattern Trader, is keeping in touch with their peers and the constant sharing and growth we impart to each other in our regular gatherings.

Thank you, paperplay, for asking this question. And if you want more information, drop me a mail. I'll be glad to entertain.

Cheers!

Dear unknow, Pattern Trading is all about Momentum and yes, I do cover and encourage trading ETFs.

You might consider attending the initial Pattern Trader Tutorial before trying the intermediate because I will be qualifying students for that. Its not going to be open for everyone to register even if they can afford the shelf price. I will not be covering anything from the PTT at the Intermediate level as students are expected to know that stuff so that we don't waste time going through it again.

Let me know your thoughts and intentions and see if I can advise you further. Drop me a mail anytime.
